Hi! My name is Winnie and I’m coming to OPH on March 1st. I’m guessed to be a 3 year old Hound mixed breed dog. My weight at the moment is 40 pounds. I’m a sweet girl, making my way up north in search of my forever family. Is that with you? If so apply today because this cuteness won’t be around for long!

Winnie arrived on March 1 and blessed us with seven beautiful puppies. Winnie is an incredible mom and the sweetest girl ever. Her Pooh Litter is:
Robin - Male - 15 ozs. - born 1:15 AM
Eeyore - Male - 14.2 ozs. - born 3 AM
Roo - Female - 12.4 ozs. - born 1:20 AM
Pooh - Male - 15.8 ozs. - born 2:40 AM
Kanga - Female - 13.2 ozs. - born 1:10 AM
Piglet - Female - 10.4 ozs. - born 2 AM - the runt
Tigger - Male - 15.9 ozs. - born 1:30 AM - the biggest

Winnie is a sweet, friendly and adorable girl. She is just about threes years old and weighs approximately 22 pounds. Winnie is friendly with everyone; people, dogs, cats, in fact, she has not met anything that she did not like. You could not ask for a more sweet little girl. Winnie loves some pets and cuddles. She enjoys some wet food mixed in with her dry kibbles. She really enjoys small snacks from her humans including chicken and peanut butter. She does well walking on her leash. She likes to be where her babies and rarely makes a sound. Winnie would do well in a home with other pets, but would also be fine on her own. She likes to go out every 3-4 hours. Winnie is not aggressive in any way.

Winnie - Winnie the Pooh Litter Mom Winnie - Winnie the Pooh Litter Mom is currently being fostered in East Berlin, PA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
