This policy applies to all donor information collected by Operation Paws for Homes online and offline and through written, oral and electronic communications. 

 

Operation Paws for Homes may collect personal information about its donors through online forms, mailed gift letters, checks or other communication from donors. The organization will only retain information necessary to administering donations, and communicating with, or providing services to our donors. 

 

Operation Paws for Homes only utilizes third party donation processing services that take seriously the security and privacy of donor information.  

 

Operation Paws for Homes will never share, trade, or sell a donor’s personal information or information about their donations or reach out to donors on behalf of any third party or unaffiliated organization. Donor information is not disclosed unless to comply with federal or state laws and regulations, or with court orders.

 

Only an extremely limited number of employees with a need to know will have access to donor information. All relevant employees are aware of our Donor Privacy Policy and must sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement. Any employee who violates the Donor Privacy Policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Operation Paws for Homes will make every effort to correct any donor information that is known to be inaccurate in a timely manner. Donors wishing to update any personal or financial information should contact director@ophrescue.org.
