Looking for a unique way to make your next event unforgettable? Invite Operation Paws for Homes' adorable rescue puppies to your office, conference, birthday party, or special event! Few things bring people together quite like spending time with playful puppies. And during certain times of the year, kittens may be available to join the fun too! Best of all, every Pup-tastic Party helps support OPH's lifesaving mission to rescue homeless dogs and cats and find them loving forever homes.

Our puppies and kittens are rescued from overcrowded shelters and are available for adoption. Every event gives them valuable socialization while introducing them to potential adopters and raising funds to help save even more lives.

Corporate & Conference Events

Perfect for employee appreciation events, wellness days, conferences, team-building activities, and client events.

  • Up to 2 hours

  • Weekdays

  • Minimum donation: $1,000

Birthday Parties & Personal Events

Perfect for birthdays, family celebrations, graduation parties, and other special occasions.

  • Up to 90 minutes

  • Weekends

  • Minimum donation: $400

Pup-Tastic Party FAQs

Where can I throw a party?

Pup-tastic Parties are currently available throughout our primary service areas, including:

  • Northern Virginia (south to Springfield)

  • Washington, DC

  • Central Maryland

  • Southern Pennsylvania (north to York)

 

Events are subject to volunteer availability and the availability of age-appropriate puppies.

What do I need to provide?

To help keep our puppies safe and comfortable, we ask that hosts provide:

  • A space large enough for our puppy play area

  • An indoor location, or an outdoor space when temperatures are between 65°F and 75°F

  • Free parking for at least two volunteer vehicles

  • Chairs for guests who would like to sit while holding puppies

What will OPH provide?

We'll bring everything needed for a safe and enjoyable puppy experience, including:

  • Puppy playpen

  • Floor protection

  • Puppy pads and cleanup supplies

  • Water and other puppy essentials

  • Experienced volunteer handlers

 

The health and safety of our puppies always comes first. Many of our youngest puppies have not yet completed their vaccination series. When this is the case, we follow strict puppy quarantine protocols. Puppies must remain inside the designated playpen, and all guests will be asked to sanitize their hands before interacting with them.​ These precautions help protect our puppies from preventable illnesses while allowing everyone to safely enjoy their visit.

How many puppies will OPH bring?

Because OPH is a rescue, the puppies available for events change from week to week. Litter sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities all vary depending on which animals are currently in our care. While we typically bring several puppies, we may not know the exact number or ages until shortly before your event.​
